Peggy's Cove Tour:
A 45 minute drive from Halifax you'll find the picturesque
and world famous Peggy's Cove. See the lush scenery change dramatically to
barren solid granite rock, left behind by retreating glaciers in the Ice Age.
The tiny harbour below the famous lighthouse is a masterpiece of weathered fish
sheds and colourful fishing boats making it one of the most photographed places
in Canada. The area is great for exploring. See DeGarthe's Monument carved in a
solid rock wall. Visit the many craft and souvenir shops, or enjoy a meal
overlooking the crashing waves. Peggy's Cove has it all!
